Main Street Grill and Bar: A Fine Dining Experience In a Casual Setting
Main Street Grill and Bar in Montpelier is New England Culinary Institute's signature restaurant. In this lively and entertaining,
multi-level restaurant and bar, you can enjoy seasonal American fare in our beautiful main dining room, or downstairs in our warm and inviting Pub and Wine Room. The Main Street Grill offers both public and private dining areas, which can accommodate parties of up to 50. During the warmer months, outdoor seating is another way to take pleasure from the
friendly and delicious dining experience that is the Main Street Grill and Bar.
At the forefront of our educational process, all menu choices are designed, created, and produced by students, under the supervision of trained chef-instructors, using cutting edge techniques and the freshest ingredients available. Patrons are welcome, as part of their dining experience, to observe this process through our viewing window from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m.
to 9:00 p.m.
Menu Selections
Our favorite Lunch menu selections include appetizers such as our Poached Pear and Stilton Salad and Roasted Winter Squash and Ginger Bisque. Entree choices include Shaved Sirloin Wrap, Sesame Crusted Chicken, and New England Sausage and Mussel Stew.
Our outstanding Dinner menu includes appetizers such as Warm Beef Short Rib Terrine, Spicy Seitan Potstickers and Suteed Shrimp, and Gnocchi. Both traditional entrees such as Grilled Atlantic Salmon and New York Strip Steak are offered along side creative, seasonal dishes including New England Leg of Venison, Pan Seared Rainbow Trout and Roasted Chicken Breast with Seasonal Vegetables and Noodle Cake.
